The November 2009 Daring Cooks challenge was brought to you by Audax of Audax Artifex and Rose of The Bite Me Kitchen. They chose sushi as the challenge. I am absolutely not a vegeterian, but because I am against overfishing and (the tuna used for sushi is a big a part of the problem) I decided to go for vegetables.
Pretty! Very well done!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Rosa
so würde ich sushi auch essen !
ReplyDeletegood try. i luv it!
ReplyDeleteJust love your sushi platter they look so luscious and juicy. Well done and cheers from Audax in Australia. I especially like the sprial roll.
ReplyDeleteYour Maki Sushis look nice, for a beginner as I assume, and the red veggie(?) on the sashimi resembles almost a nice toro (tuna), the best raw fish. I appreciate your concerns, but there are many other fishes and seafood used for sushi, too.
ReplyDeleteIndeed a beginner, or let me confess: this was the first and the last time, that I prepared sushi. The red veggie is baked paprika. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't see myself eating sushi anyway, so your variation would be as close as I would go! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
