Foodie Book Wisdom

I was tagged by KJ from A Cracking Good Egg for this funny meme. Of course it would be nice to keep the foodie theme.

The rules are:

1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged you.

The nearest book on my desk that is a cook book, that is an old one, I got from my mom. It is a Hungarian cook book that probably many generations own and going to own. Actually she bought me a new one, but I insisted on hers as I am fond of old books, I love their smell and colour. Mine was published in 1986. I am talking about the Szakácskönyv by Ilona Horváth, that simply means cook book. The book is considered to be one of the classic Hungarian cookbooks, and was written for "housewives."

So here it is (translated):
"Add mushroom, salt, pepper, chopped parsley, and fry it while stirring often. Mix flour with sour cream, add on fried mushrooms, and bring it to boil. Serve with mirror egg or croquette, but without egg it is also delicious."

I am tagging:
Amy from L'Esistenza Bellissima
Jo from Joanna in the kitchen
Medena from Café Chocolada
Millie from Kuul Kat
Holly from Phe/MOM/enon

Sounds fun. I'll have to see what I find when I can get near a book - right now the closest book is Dr. Seuss Go Dog Go! LOL Thanks!
